Notes
There is no gate; no gate code is necessary for entry.
If arriving late, the self-pay station kiosk is located next to the parks headquarters building with a reservation listing. Campers with a reservation can check the list, pick an available campsite, and fill out the self-pay envelope. The self-pay station kiosk contains a park map with the numbered campground sites, and a stack of self-pay envelopes with written instructions. The iron ranger, where the filled out self-pay envelopes are dropped by the customer, is next to the self-pay kiosk. All customers arriving after hours must use the self-pay station and register at the Park Headquarters by 9am the next morning.
Campers without a reservation can look at the campground map at the self-pay station kiosk and determine which site type they would like. Then, review the Incoming Camper List to see how many campsites are available in the particular campground area (Water, Electric & Sewage- Sites 1-10 or Water & Electric- Sites 11-20). Campers may then drive down to the campground and pick out a site and return to the self-pay kiosk by the headquarters building and fill out the self-pay envelope per the written instructions. The next morning, campers should return to the headquarters building to check-in (register) by 9am the next morning to ensure that all information has been entered properly and there are no outstanding fees due.
