January 24, 2026 - Due to winter weather storm forecasts and for visitor safety, all camping areas are closed from Friday, January 23rd at 4:30 pm through Monday night, January 26th, opening back up at noon on Tuesday, January 27th if conditions allow.
The boat ramp and canoe rentals will also be closed.
In addition to the closures listed, the park headquarters will be closed until conditions allow for reopening. Visitors are able to use self-pay or use the online system for day entrance. 

Prescribed burns are planned during this timeframe (January-April), depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed fire operations and associated smoke may impact your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn how this may affect your stay.

October 6, 2022 - This county is under a quarantine to prevent the spread of the emerald ash borer to other areas of the state. This means movement of firewood is restricted.
Please buy firewood where you burn it to prevent the spread of diseases and pests.

If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park.

DAY USE FEE will be charged per person per day in addition to facility use fees.
$4 per day, per person 13 and older. Children 12 years and under are free.

OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION:
Open daily from 8:15am-4:45pm - Park Office hours may vary.

Park does not have a gate. If arriving after office hours, customers must call the park by 4:45pm on the day of arrival.

Pets must be on leash at all times, and it is the responsibility of the owner to clean up after the pet.

Notes

FACILITY RESERVATIONS:
To better serve our customers and to provide a continued quality experience for our guests, scheduled closures of certain facilities during the year will occur for all the Caddo Lake State Park Cabins and Recreation Hall. Increased usage and visitation has created a need for a down time in our facilities to initiate repairs and to provide for a thorough deep cleaning of each facility. We apologize for any inconvenience and we're careful not to schedule these closures where they would interfere with major holidays when possible. All Cabins and the Group Rec Hall are closed annually on Christmas Day.

LATE ARRIVALS: If arriving after 4:45pm...
Park does not have an entrance gate. Late Arrival list with reservation name and site number will be posted on the board to the left of the office door. Park facility maps are also available there.

Cabin reservations- Customer is responsible for calling park to ensure cabin access. Call ahead- don't be locked out of your cabin.

All customers arriving after hours must register at the office by 10am the next morning.
