Prescribed burns are planned during this timeframe (September-April), depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed fire operations and associated smoke may impact your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn how this may affect your stay.
July 12, 2024 - The lake at Bonham State Park has been infested with hydrilla, which can impact swimming, fishing and boating due to heavy vegetation on the lake surface. We are working on controlling and/or removing the hydrilla.
Please contact the park office with questions. And as always, please clean, drain, and dry your boat!
If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park.
