August 15, 2022 - This county is under a quarantine to prevent the spread of the emerald ash borer to other areas of the state. This means movement of firewood is restricted.
Please buy firewood where you burn it to prevent the spread of diseases and pests.

Argentine ants have been identified in Cedar Hill State Park. These invasive ants do not sting. Please be prepared to treat around your vehicle and camping equipment.
Texas Parks and Wildlife Department is working with experts to reduce the number of ants without harming the park's natural resources.
