The entire park will be closed from 3pm the night before the first day of the hunt and will reopen at 2pm on the last day of the hunt.

Reservations required on weekends (Saturday/Sunday), school breaks and holidays. Recommended all other days.
The Summit Trail and all other elevated trails may be closed after any wet weather to preserve the natural features or for safety reasons. Updates on park conditions and trail closures can be found on the park’s Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram pages. Please call the park ahead of time with any questions.
If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park.

$8 per day, per person 13 and older.
OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION:
The park gate opens daily at 6:30 AM and closes at 8:00 PM. Normal Park Office hours are 8:30 am – 4:30 pm, daily. Day use visitors may use the park until 10 PM, when all day-use permits expire. All day use visitors need to be inside the gate by 8:00 PM to access the park. Day-use visitors are NOT issued the gate code. Campers will be provided a gate code to enter after hours on the day of arrival. The park may close without warning for emergencies such as floods, safety operations or inclement weather. All visitors will check in at the headquarters drive-thru window upon entry.
This park provides access to visitors with five entry times. Please choose an entry time arrival window that best suits your planned time of arrival. Once you are in the park, you may stay until 10 PM. Check your reservation carefully before making your payment and confirming your selection. If you are going to miss your entry time window by a brief amount of time, your reservation will still be honored upon arrival at the park. If you are going to miss your entry arrival time by more than an hour, please call the park.
Concessions are limited. The nearest store or gas station is 18 miles.
All trails, including the Summit Trail, will close 30 minutes after sunset, except the Loop Trail. The Loop Trail will be accessible after sunset for visitors to navigate and view dark skies.
Tent camping only. No RV's, Pop-ups, or vehicle camping. All sites are walk-in or hike-in.
Slacklines are prohibited.
PETS:
To protect the ecosystem of this Natural Area, pets are only allowed in the designated picnic areas, the campgrounds, and on the Loop Trail. Pets are not permitted on the Summit Trail leading to Enchanted Rock’s highest dome, or any of the seven peaks of the granite uplift.

Notes
The park gate opens at 6:30 am and closes at 8:00 PM. Only campers will be able to access the park once the gate is closed.
The park’s headquarters and check-in building closes at 4:30 PM. A self-pay and check in station is located at the front door of the headquarters building. All visitors arriving after 4:30 need to check in at this after-hours station.
AFTER OFFICE HOURS DAY USE: If you are coming into the park for a day entry visit after the park headquarters has closed, please check in at the self-pay station located at the front door of the headquarters building. If you have pre-paid your visit with the reservation system, please note the reservation number on the self-pay envelope, drop it in the box, and continue with your visit. If you have not pre-paid with the reservation system, you will need exact change or a check for payment.
AFTER HOURS CAMPING WITH A RESERVATION: Campers with a reservation should stop at the information board outside of the park headquarters for the Late Arrivals list. Follow the After-Hours Self Pay instructions posted. Place your reservation number in the space marked Park Pass, include your campsite #, number of people staying overnight, and contact information on the self-pay envelope.
AFTER-HOURS CAMPING WITHOUT A RESERVATION: Campers without a reservation should stop at the board outside of the park headquarters for information and to view the campsite availability map. You may select one of the sites listed on the availability map. If there is a sign posted stating No Vacancy, there are no campsites available even if a site is vacant. Follow the After-Hours Self Pay Instructions posted. Include your campsite #, number of people staying overnight, contact information, and pay the appropriate amount in cash or check.
FOR GROUP CAMP: There is no access from the main park to the Group Camping area. The gate to the Group Camp area is approximately 1 mile north of the park on RR 965 (towards Llano). A gate code is necessary for entry into the Buzzards Roost Group Camp. If arriving after hours, the group contact person must call or email the park by 4 PM on the day of arrival. All overnight customers arriving after-hours must register at the Park Headquarters by 9 AM the next morning.
