Alerts and Important Information

October 21, 2025 - The park HQ office will be closed for training on October 22 and 23.
The park remains open but visitors are encouraged to reserve a day pas online or use the self-pay station on arrival.

October 14, 2025 - Burn ban in effect until further notice. No charcoal or wood fires allowed. The use of propane grills with tops will be permitted. Contact the park for additional information.

Prescribed burns are planned during this timeframe (October-May), depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed fire operations and associated smoke may impact your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn how this may affect your stay.

PARK HUNT DATES:
Nov. 17-21, Dec. 1-5, Jan. 19-23
The entire park will be closed from noon the day before the first day of the hunt and will reopen at 2pm on the last day of the hunt.

If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park.

DAY USE FEE:
$3 per day, per person 13 and older.

OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION:
The gate is open from 8am to 8pm daily.

Office is open from 8:30am to 4:30pm daily. Late Arrivals after 5pm must pay deposit before getting cabin keys. Call the park for more info. All reservations will receive an email from park personnel about your stay.
