September 9, 2026 - The park headquarters will be closed Tuesday, September 29 for staff training. Please reserve Day Entrance online or use the self-pay station during this time.
PARK HUNT DATES:
Jan. 5-7
The entire park will be closed from 10pm the day before until 8am the day after the hunt ends.
If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park.
DAY USE FEE:
$6 per day, per person 13 and older.
OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION:
This park does not have a gate.
Office Hours: 8:30am to 4:30pm daily.
During the months of October and November, the park is very crowded on weekends. Parking is limited to 250 vehicles. Visitors are encouraged to come on weekdays.
No kayaking or tubing, the river is too shallow. There is a lot of natural areas for walking/hiking.
No generators allowed after quiet hours.

Notes
There is no cell phone service in the park, but there is public WiFi at the headquarters.
Day Use: If arriving after hours for Day Use, completely fill out a self-pay envelope at the self-pay station located outside of the Park Headquarters. Visitors with reservations can proceed into the park
Overnight Use: Visitors with reservations can proceed into the park to their campsite and check in at the HQ by 9AM in the morning. Visitors without a reservation must use the public WiFi to check the reservation system for availability and can reserve online or use a self-pay envelope to pay for their first night, then check in with the HQ by 9AM.
