September 26, 2023 - Due to lack of staffing, the Sauer-Beckmann Living History Farm will be closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays until further notice. The Farm grounds and trails will remain open. However, all Farm buildings will be closed to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
School group tours will be encouraged to schedule tours for later in the spring of 2024.
Save the Day Passes
Many parks fill to capacity on weekends and holidays. Pre-purchase a day pass and guarantee your entry and parking. Day passes are:- Valid until 10 p.m., unless the park closes earlier.
- Available up to 1 month in advance.
- Not transferrable to another person or park.
- Also sold at the park, if available.
Driving Directions
From San Antonio:Take US 281 north to Johnson City. Turn left on US 290 west to Fredericksburg. The park is located 2 miles east of Stonewall, 14 miles west of Johnson City. Turn right into the park on State Road 52.
From Austin:
Take US 290 West towards Johnson City and Fredericksburg. The park is located 2 miles east of Stonewall, 14 miles west of Johnson City. Turn right into the park on State Road 52.
