PARK HUNT DATES:
Sep. 5-7, 12-13, 14, 20-21, 27-28
Park closed to the public and only accessible to dove hunters on Sep. 5-7 and Sep. 12-13.
The North end of the park will remain open for normal visitation on Sep. 14, 20-21, and 27-28. The tram loop and trails will be barricaded to close access to hunting area at the south end of the park.
Save the Day Passes
Many parks fill to capacity on weekends and holidays. Pre-purchase a day pass and guarantee your entry and parking. Day passes are:- Valid until 10 p.m., unless the park closes earlier.
- Available up to 1 month in advance.
- Not transferrable to another person or park.
- Also sold at the park, if available.
Driving Directions
From Expressway 77/83, exit at Olmito. Follow FM 1732 west for 2.5 miles, then turn left at New Carmen Avenue and follow for 1.5 miles. After the railroad tracks, turn left to enter the park. From Military Highway/Hwy. 281, turn north on New Carmen Avenue and continue for 2.5 miles. Turn right to enter the park.
