PARK HUNT DATES:
Nov. 15-Dec.1
Hunts during these dates will be held away from the main park and will not affect and camping or visitation. During this time the East Pasture and Old Ranch Road Trail will be closed.

Dec. 10-13, 17-20, 26-29
The entire park except for the Trailway will be closed from 4pm the night before the first day of the hunt and will reopen at 2pm on the last day of the hunt.

Anyone wishing to utilize the Trailway will need to use the self-pay stations to pay entry and overnight site fees. The Caprock Canyons Trailway is located outside the main park with the closest access from the park is located 3 miles south of Caprock Canyons at the town of Quitaque.

All roads to the park and in the park are all-weather roads with paved surfaces. Unpaved roads outside of Caprock Canyons can be very muddy and slippery after periods of excessive rainfall. We recommend not driving on those roads until they dry.

If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park.

DAY USE FEE: $5 per day, per person 13 and older.

Group Entrance rate of $3 per person applies to all groups using Day Use Facilities as well as groups of 16 or more adults. Group rate is only applicable for day use visitation. Children under 13 do count towards group count.

There is no gate; no gate code is necessary for entry.

Customers arriving after hours must use the self-pay station located at the Park Headquarters. Fill out the envelope properly and make the appropriate payment for one night's fees before proceeding to an available site. If park signage indicates that the park is NOT full, sites for campers without a reservation are first-come first-serve and are only guaranteed night of arrival. All overnight customers must register at the Park Headquarters by 9am the next morning.

FOR LODGE:
Customers arriving after hours must notify the park by 5pm on the arrival date, so that the cabin will be unlocked. Upon arrival, use the self-pay station located at the Park Headquarters. Fill out the envelope properly and make the appropriate payment for one night's fees before proceeding to the lodge. The key will be left on the table in the lodge. All overnight customers must register at the Park Headquarters by 9am the next morning.

FOR PAVILION:
Customers arriving after hours for Day Use must use the self-pay station located at the Park Headquarters. Fill out the envelope properly and make the appropriate payment before proceeding to an available site. All customers arriving after hours must register at the Park Headquarters by 9am the next morning.
