October 3, 2024 - Burn Ban in effect until further notice. No ash producing fires such as wood or charcoal. Containerized fuel such as propane, will be allowed for cooking .

PARK HUNT DATES:
Nov. 1-3, Nov, 12-14, Nov. 19-21, Dec. 6-8, Dec.17-19
Some hiking trails and the Primitive Campsites will be closed from 5pm the night before the first day of the hunt and will reopen at 8am the day after the hunt.

The park, main campground, cabins, and all other areas of the park are open during this time. Only drawn permitted hunters will be allowed in the closed areas during these dates. Contact the park for more information.

Watch for algae blooms in stagnant water. Read details from the LCRA

If your plans change, please modify or cancel your reservation as soon as possible to allow someone else to enjoy the park.

Reservations are strongly recommended, as Inks Lake State Park regularly sells out of both camping and day use.

DAY USE FEE:
$7 per day, per person 13 and older.
Daily Visitation fees are in addition to Campsite or Day Use facility fees.

OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION:
Office Hours:
8:30 am-5 pm daily, except for extended hours during the peak season.

Park Store Hours:
Open daily at 8:30am.
Closing hours may vary.
Please call the Park Store at 512-793-2033 to inquire about current hours.

Boat Rentals:
Rent paddle boats, canoes, one- or two-person kayaks, stand-up paddleboards (SUP), life vests and paddles at the park store.
All boat rentals are $20 for the first hour and $10 for each additional hour.
Weather permitting, rentals are available daily from 8:30am to 3:00p, with all boats due back by 4pm.

Due to limited parking in the park, visitors are encouraged to carpool whenever possible.

The primitive sites are a mile and a half hike in, there is no water access, and no fires/pets are allowed.

There is no gate; no gate code is necessary for entry.

If arriving after the office is closed for Day Use, go into the Lobby. To the left of the door there is a gold box with the word 'envelopes' marked on the outside, fill out and/or enclose the information requested and drop it in our honor box. Day use is valid from 6am-10pm.

If you have reserved a campsite and you are arriving after the office is closed, go into the lobby. There will be an occupied sites list posted on the front door, look at that list (sites are listed by type, occupied sites are marked out in red) choose the type of site you have a reservation for. To the left of the door there is a gold box with the word 'envelopes' marked on the outside, fill out the information requested and drop it in our honor box. All late arrivals must come up to headquarters the following morning between 8-9am to check in.

FOR CABIN:
If office is closed- come into the Lobby, on the left side of the building, under the air conditioner, there is a bulletin board with 'Messages for Campers', and there will be an envelope with your name pinned on it and all of your information inside (rules and key). You will need to come up to headquarters the following morning between 8am-9am to check in.

FOR GROUP CAMP:
If the office is closed- come into the Lobby, on the left side of the building, under the air conditioner, there is a bulletin board with 'Messages for Campers', and there will be an envelope with your name pinned on it and all of your information inside (rules, directions, and gate code). You will need to come up to headquarters the following morning between 8am-9am to check in.
