BEFORE ARRIVAL: Permit holders are required to review the Conditions of Permit Requirements on the second page of the permit, the Critical Paddler Information and Map, the Devils River Access Permit Overview, and the State Park Rules and Regulations in advance. Group leaders are responsible for distributing this information to each member of their group.

Permits must be printed for EACH paddler prior to arrival and are not valid until the individual paddler has agreed to the 'Conditions of Permit Requirements' by signing the printed copy of their permit. The group leader must print one additional copy to provide to the designated outfitter or place in the permit receptacle at Baker's Crossing or Del Norte headquarters if self-shuttling. This copy of the permit must contain the actual names for each permit holder in order to account to all group members in the event of an emergency.
