Seminole Canyon State Park and Historic Site, TX

Take a rugged and moderately strenuous hike to the Fate Bell and Fate Bell Annex rock shelters. Protected by a huge cliff overhang, the shelters hold some of the most spectacular rock art in Texas. Tours are available Wednesday - Sunday at 10 a.m., with afternoon tours available seasonally based on conditions. Tours will be cancelled in extreme temperatures and/or rain. Tours begin promptly at scheduled start times, and late arrivals will not be permitted to join a tour in progress. Tour participants are strongly encouraged to arrive 20-30 minutes early, to allow adequate time for check-in with park staff.

It is a fairly rugged hike to the Fate Bell Shelter.
Day use pass must be purchased in addition to tour tickets.

Tour route is inaccessible for people with mobility or balance issues. All tour participants need to be able to walk on uneven terrain.
