OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION: The gate to the park is open 24 hours, unless there is flooding. Park open 7 days per week. Park is open daily 6:00am to 10:00pm Office hours: * March 1 to Sept. 30: 7:30 a.m. – 7 p.m. (except Wednesday; the office closes at 5pm on Wednesday) * Oct. 1 to Feb. 28/29: 7:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. Late arrivals please use the self pay station located at Park Headquarters. This park does have a dump station. POOL INFORMATION: Pool Season: Memorial Day Weekend through Labor Day 11:30am to 6:30pm, Thursday - Tuesday (closed Wednesday). Take Hwy 183 South approximately 30 miles to Lockhart. Turn right on Hwy 20 West (State Park Road) at the Dairy Queen. Park is located 2 miles from Hwy 183 on the left. From Houston: Take I 10 West to the first Luling exit. Take Hwy 183 North to Lockhart. Turn left on Hwy 20 at the Dairy Queen (3rd light). Park is located 2 miles from Hwy 183 on the left.
