OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION: Gate is open from 7am to 10pm. If you will be a late arrival, you must call the park prior to 5pm on arrival date for late arrival instructions. The closest town for ice, firewood, groceries, camping supplies, etc. is Cleburne-10 miles away. Water Skiing and personal watercraft are prohibited due to lake's size. Boats are limited to a speed of no wake. Lime Plant next to park. At times and under certain conditions the plant may produce noise and dust. Getting There: From Ft Worth (slower route): Take I-35W South approximately 25miles. Take Exit 26A for US-67. Turn right onto Hwy 67 S. Travel approximately 19miles on Hwy 67 S then turn left onto Park Road 21. Travel approximately 6miles on Park Road 21 and the park entrance will be on your right.From Ft Worth (quicker toll-road route): Take Chisholm Trail parkway south from i30 about 27miles then turn left on Hwy 67 S towards Glen Rose. Travel approximately 7miles on Hwy 67 S then turn left on Park Road 21. Travel approximately 6miles on Park Road 21 and the park entrance will be on your right.
