OFFICE AND GATE INFORMATION: Gate Hours: 8am-10pm, daily. SWIMMING AND BOATING: No swimming/boating. Can't enter the water due to alligators in the park. OBSERVATORY INFORMATION: The George Observatory is operated by the Houston Museum of Natural Science. Tickets must be purchased in advance at https://www.hmns.org/george-observatory/admission/ . Entry into Brazos Bend State Park is not included with your ticket to the George Obsevatory. Day Passes may be reserved online anytime or at the park headquarters during operating hours. Getting There: From Houston:
Take US 59 south to Crabb River Road/FM 2759 exit. Turn left (East) onto FM 2759. Go about 2.5 miles. Continue through the intersection. Road changes name to FM 762 (South). Continue for 16.5 miles. Park is on the left-(Park is 19 miles from Crabb River Rd exit). Stay on 762 until you reach the park. From East Houston: Take US 288 South (Nolan Ryan Freeway) to Rosharon. Turn west onto FM 1462. Go 10 miles and turn north onto FM 762. Park is 1.5 miles on the right. Contact Information:
