January 4, 2024 - Due to current drought conditions lake levels are low, some watercrafts/trailers might experience difficulties launching at the boat ramps. Please use caution while boating.

Prescribed burns are planned during this timeframe (November-April), depending on weather and other factors. Prescribed fire operations and associated smoke may impact your visit. Some camping areas, lodging facilities, trails, and day-use areas may be closed for public safety. Contact the park to learn how this may affect your stay.

There is no gate; no gate code is necessary for entry. If arriving after the office closes at 5pm, customers must use the self-pay station and return to the Park Headquarters by 9am the next morning to register.
